What we don't like:
Ripple is centralized. A lot of people's attraction to the crypto market is the decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies. Ripple is made for the use of central banks, and many people use crypto currencies as a way to invest their money outside of central banks. A threat to Ripple as a product is if banks decided to use their own cryptocurrencies for the same purpose, to save the fees they pay to Ripple.
What we like:
The Ripple protocol allows banks and other large organizations to send money across borders quickly with minimal fees, automatically converting funds between different fiat currencies. Ripple is a sound investment. It is one of the few altcoins that already has a very successful working product.
